Mystery Marathon up north
'
Pauline from Calico Crossroads in Exeter (Northern Tasmania) is running the mystery marathon in conjunction with ours at her store. Read her blog for details – so all you northern girls if you don't want to travel could join in with Pauline. Maybe you could ask your store to organise a marathon, then you could all get together to stitch for 12 glorious hours and have heaps of fun!
This is the full photo of the gorgeous project donated by Rose of Threadbare creations – yes all marathoners get this project (online included).
Another big box of fabric also arrived yesterday from XLN fabrics, its going to be hard parting with all of this delicious fabric.
Its not too late join in, you can sign up here.
For those who have signed up I shall post the requirements here again for you so you can find them easily… Onliners, they are also on your login blog page.
Following are the requirements for the Mystery marathon quilts. If you just want to come for the fun and a general sewing day, bring your sewing basket, needles and threads, there will be a few other fun things you could do instead. There will be some supplies and goods available for sale on the day.

You can purchase jelly roll strips for this quilt as long as there are three definite colourways. Each colour in the three must contrast. The bracketed colours are what I have used.
If purchasing meterage/yardage you may wish to precut your fabric into 2 ½” strips before you come to save time and allow you to get straight into stitching.
