Welcome ladies to our 2024 ASA event.... We are returning to the Tamar Valley Resort just north of Launceston once again as our 2019 event went perfectly there.

Details are:

Arrive Tamar Valley Resort Friday 21st June - there will be a minibus that will pickup at the Launceston airport at 12 midday and then Grand Chancellor in Launceston at approximately 12.30pm. It will bring you to the resort ready for our start time of 2.30pm meet and greet with a little time to settle into your room and wander the resort. It will return you on Sunday evening, departing the resort at 4pm and arriving back at the Launceston Grand Chancellor at approximately 4.30pm. It can then travel onto Launceston airport for a flight no earlier than 6.30pm.

The World Famous Grindelwald Swiss Shopping Village is located on the grounds at Aspect Tamar Valley Resort and is open to the public every day of the week from 9am. Here you will find local arts, craft shops, souvenir shops, chocolate shop, ice creamery, village bakery, news agency, general store, electronic games arcade, golf shop, mini golf & much more. 

Guests staying at the resort have complimentary access to the Resort’s health club area. The indoor Centre has a heated pool (29 degrees), spa, steam sauna, paddling pool and fully equipped gymnasium. It also has a golf course, mini golf, water golf, a jumping pillow, paddle boats and more! so bring your togs and walking shoes...

Our rooms will all be in the Hotel and will include: 

Garden hotel suites: Twins

1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed. Sleeps up to 3 persons. A Special Type of Hotel Accommodation. Big 42″ TV, Fully Air conditioned, Free In-Room WIFI, Work Desk, Electronic Safes, DVD Player, Garden, or Courtyard Views, Fully Serviced Daily. These Garden Suites are located in our Elegant and Stylish Hotel Complex. Note these rooms are upstairs we do not have a lift.

Comfort Hotel suites: Twins

1 Queen Bed and 1 Single Bed. Sleeps up to 3 persons. Ground Floor Stylish open Studio Design, and are located in our Elegant Hotel complex. All have 42″ TV. In-room Electronic Safe, Fully Serviced Daily, Air conditioned, with Free in-room WIFI.

Corporate King hotel suites: - Singles

1 King Bed. Sleeps up to 2 persons. Located in our Elegant and Stylish Hotel Complex. Big 42" TV, Air conditioned, Free In-Room WIFI, In room Work Desk and Leather chair with a Comfortable Double Lounge Suite, DVD player, Electronic Safe, and is sure to impress the most discerning business travellers. Note these rooms are upstairs we do not have a lift.

If booking a twin please indicate who you are sharing with.  We will allocate the rooms with your preferred sharing mates as best as possible.   Note that most rooms are upstairs - you can elect a preference after booking on the details form and we will allocate downstairs rooms to those who have mobility issues where we can. If three want to share (it may mean sharing a queen bed) contact me and we'll see what we can do.

All meals are included for your weekend. Please indicate medical dietary requirements after booking on the details form. The venue will cater to most dietary requirements - some goodies we personally include may not cater to all but we will note that at the time.

Mobility: There will be steps to navigate on and off the coach/bus during transport. Please also note that there is walking involved on slight slopes from your accommodation to the meal venues. You may be walking at night during darkness and it may be cold and wet. Some hotel rooms are on the first floor and there is no lift.  Please be confident you can manage these requirements before booking.

A deposit of 40% is required to secure your space today. Payment in full is also accepted.

1st May full balance owing.

Faillure to meet any of these payments will result in your place being given to the next on the waiting list.

Payment through this event booking is by Paypal or Credit card.  Any refunds requested due to mispayments will incur the payment fee (which we do not get refunded) and a management fee of $5.00 - this is separate to our Refund terms and conditions below.

Cost includes: (subject to change but this is everything I can think of right now)

Coach transport from Launceston airport/Grand Chancellor and return

Two nights 4 star accommodation

All meals from Friday bus departure - to Sunday afternoon tea

Full kits for minimum 4 projects or one large project (tbc)

Other goodies and surprises to tempt, treat and spoil you.

Does not include: alcoholic drinks, Resort leisure activities, travel costs to/from Tasmania, Travel insurance.

Numbers are limited so registrations will be taken in order of deposits paid. 2023 attendees have until March 10th to book. Remaining places will then be offered to 1. Previous attendees, 2. Waiting list applications, 3. Open to the public.

1. A deposit of 40% is required to secure your space on the retreat.

2. The price listed is subject to change if minimum capacity has not been reached. A minimum of 25 attendees are required.

3. If you cancel your booking prior to final payment being made, a refund less Administration costs of $100.00 will be awarded as long as minimum group numbers can be filled.

4. Payments must be made in full by 1st May 2024.

5. If your booking is cancelled within 30 days of the retreat date, full cancellation charges apply and no refund will be given unless someone can take your place in full. 

6. We strongly suggest Travel Insurance in case of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control, including Covid, flight disruptions or minimum numbers not met.
