Delivery Information


All goods purchased via our online store will be delivered via Australia Post. We endeavor at all times to ship your orders in the most economical but secure manner. Australia Post will offer their choices for the products you have added to your shopping cart.  Please choose carefully for the level of security, tracking and insurance you require, or how quickly you want your products.

Once the order has left our premises, it is deemed to be delivered. You will receive updates and tracking information from Australia Post if they are available. For lost or missing parcels please contact Australia Post using your tracking email details.

There is no tracking option for Letters - if you choose this option then we are unable to assist once it has left our warehouse.

For quicker delivery with tracking, please choose Express Post as your shipping method.

Our shopping cart calculates Australia Post shipping charges based on weight and measurement. Often we can improve these automated shipping rates by packing and recalculating total shipping or using other shipping methods. In this event we will always refund any excess shipping you have paid if we are able to. If you feel the rate is unusually high, please contact and we can calculate manually to see if we can improve the rate.

We have given an option named Letter rate. Note: this is for a flat paper pattern only. This is a cheaper rate for flat, light paper goods only (such as patterns) but is not registered nor trackable.

Note: If letter rate is selected we do not replace late or missing items and we cannot track your order in anyway. If selected for other shaped items your order will not be able to be processed until further shipping is paid.

We recommend choosing the insurance option during checkout so a registered post label is added to your letter for tracking purposes. For peace of mind this adds only a small extra fee. 

Remember: if insurance is not selected on letter and parcel shipping rates we cannot track nor refund or resend your order if it does not arrive. Is it worth the risk?

If Letter rate is incorrectly selected for other shaped items your order will not be able to be processed until further shipping is paid.

Free shipping offer:  for orders over AUD$100   - will be shipped standard non insured rates within Australia only - if you want tracking or insurance please choose another option. Note: free shipping is not included in recurring purchases (BOM etc) if subsequent months are not over the $100 limit. Note: The free shipping option may take up to 21 days to arrive.

We have endeavored to make your shopping experience with us as simple as possible and we ask that if you have any problems with the ordering process that you contact us.

International shipping: customers are responsible for all in-country customs, clearance or taxable fees incurred. We do not prepay VAT or taxes to the UK or European Union. You will be responsible for clearance of your items within your country if applicable.


You can order with us by:

  1. Secure on-line purchasing -  VISA and Mastercard. Payments through Paypal are also accepted.

  2. PayPal - simply select the Paypal payment option and follow the instructions in your web browser. (Note: you do not have to have a Paypal account to use your Credit card through this service)

All orders will be attended to promptly and we will advise if there are any delays with providing products.



If you place an order and we happen to be out of stock of the product, we will advise you and you can choose to wait for the stock to arrive or you may cancel the order.



While all care is taken in packaging your goods, Hugs 'n Kisses/Quarter Inch will not be responsible for any goods received damaged, due to shipping. (If damaged due to shipping you, the customer will need to contact Australia Post/courier and make a claim).

Items purchased may not be returned  or exchanged unless you can prove that the item is not what you expected from the details given on the website. Then an exchange voucher only will be given at the discretion of Hugs'n Kisses/Quarter Inch. A receipt is required of your initial purchase. No refunds or exchanges are given on clearance sale items.


As a general rule, refunds or exchanges are only applicable if the goods are returned to Hugs 'n Kisses/Quarter Inch:

  • in original condition, suitable for re-sale
  • with all packaging in-tact
  • within 21 days of the transaction date

Goods should be returned via registered post together with proof of purchase invoice. (postage  for the return of goods is at the customers cost)
Postage and handling charges on returned goods are not refundable.
